Why is a company that does software development called 'Ducks in a Row'?

Ducks in a Row, Inc., was founded by three alumni of the University of Oregon, the Fighting Ducks. Furthermore, our work in risk analysis, technical consulting, and genealogy helps our customers get their ducks lined up.

Regina L. Hunter

Regina L. Hunter, President of Ducks in a Row, Inc., received a Bachelor of Arts (Honors College) in geology from UO in 1970. She retired after 24 years at Sandia National Laboratories, where she was a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff. She has one patent pending and has published more than 40 technical reports and papers, one book with Oxford University Press, and several videos. While at Sandia, Dr. Hunter worked as a risk analyst on a number of projects funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the U.S. General Services Administration. She currently supports projects in software development and risk analysis for external customers and is the primary software designer for Ducks in a Row, Inc.

Madison D. Link

Madison D. Link, Vice President for Development, received a Master of Science degree in mathematics from UO in 2001. Mr. Link currently supports projects in software development and risk analysis for external customers and is the primary software developer for Ducks in a Row, Inc. He was the winner of a major writing contest in 2003 in the Fantasy/Science Fiction category and has many years' experience in technical editing and critiquing.

Teresa L. Link

Teresa L. Link, Vice President for Research, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from UO in 1994. Ms. Link is preparing to become a Certified Professional Genealogist. She is the world's foremost authority on the George Anson family in America and will publish a book on this family in the near future. Ms. Link is currently not accepting new clients. She is available to other workers on Anson genealogy in an advisory capacity only.
